A Gratitude Journal Can Improve Your Health
Writing down what you're thankful for helps you stay mindful of what's important to you. It can make you feel better physically too. A recent study found that people who kept a weekly gratitude journal exercised regularly, reported fewer aches and pains, and felt better about their lives on the whole, compared with those who didn't journal. A gratitude journal doesn't have to be complicated. Just get a notebook so you can keep all your thoughts in one place. Place it next to your bedside so you're reminded to write before sleep or when you get up. Don't pressure yourself to write a lot. A sentence or two will do. Take the gratitude journal challenge. Write a little each day for two weeks. Then see how much better you feel.
